Harold Simpson Memorial Youth Centre

The Summerland Youth Centre Association has a mandate to operate the Harold Simpson Memorial Youth Centre for the benefit of the District of Summerland, but youth in particular.

The Centre makes space available for youth groups such as the Okanagan Boys and Girls Club, Cadets, Scouts and Guides. The SYC also offers a summer program for youths on a daily or weekly basis.

Adult groups also take advantage of the building. Lions and Kinsmen (two of the organizations instrumental in funding the Centre) call the SYC home.
Other groups such as the Material Girls quilters and the volleyball group use the facility.
